Australian Heart Foundation Tuesday Walking Group - April to June 2022 Program

 

Meet at at 9.15am for a 9.30am start.

 

April

  • 5 April - Lucy Victoria Ave for walk along the Collie River. Meet in car park nearest to the gazebo along Collie River. BYO mug. Toilets at Children's playground.

  • 12 April - The Maidens parking area for a walk following Ray through the Maidens, Ocean Drive, Withers. BYO mug. School holidays so please bring the grandkids for some healthy exercise in the fresh air.
    19April - Fee’s Field, Cathedral Avenue. BYO mug. School holidays.

  • 26 April - Leisure Centre for walk around Kingston area. BYO mugs.

May

  • 3 May - Fee’s Field, Cathedral Avenue. BYO mugs. Toilets available.                                        

  • 10 May - Treendale, meet behind BestnLess for walk around Treendale followed by coffee at Muffin Break.                            

  • 17 May - New Walk! Dalyellup Lakes and Wetlands walking track. Turn right into Norton Promenade off the Highway and left into Maidment Parade. Jenny will let us know further details regarding parking etc. BYO mug. Toilets available.

  • 24 May - Burekup. Meet opposite the hall. Toilets available. Kathy’s Pink Memorial Walk. On this day we remember one of our ‘character walkers’ who loved the colour pink. So, if you feel like it please wear something pink and/or bring something pink to eat as a contribution to morning tea. BYO mugs.

  • 31 May - Settlers Hall, Marine Drive, Leschenault. Meet here for a walk down Headland Place and then following the very pretty Brunswick River track to the Forrest Highway Bridge and back. Please wear enclosed walking shoes. BYO mugs. Not sure if the toilets will be open.

June

  • 7 June - Leisure Centre for Kingston Walk around new footpaths. BYO mugs.

  • 14 June - Meadow Landing. From Raymond Road turn right into Ranson Drive and right again at the roundabout into Warburton Street – drive to end and park. Coffee at Muffin Break Treendale after the walk, where the nearest toilets are.

  • 21 June - Meet by Paris Road Bridge (end of slip road on RHS before the bridge if coming from Australind Shopping Centre along Paris Road). Walk along track following Brunswick River to Galway Green and return. Please wear enclosed walking shoes. BYO mugs. Nearest toilets – bushes by river.

  • 28 June - Brunswick Junction. Meet in carpark by church for Beela Road walk and/or river walk. Then retire to the fantastic Brunswick Bakery to celebrate 6 months of Healthy, Happy Walking amongst friends. Toilets available.
