Program information

School holiday programs run Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, from 8am to 5.30pm daily.

The cost is $85 per child per day before CCS government rebates.

Enrolment includes breakfast and all activities, keeping your child energised and entertained.

CCS (Child Care Subsidy)

You may be eligible for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) which may reduce your fees. Apply for this payment through your MyGov account. Please complete this process before your child attends their first session, otherwise full fees may apply.

To link your approved funding with your enrolment, every enrolment form must have your Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN) for parent and child, as well as the date of birth for the parent and child. If you don’t provide this information, full fees may apply.

If you choose not to apply for CCS, or you don’t meet the residency requirements, full fees may apply.

Please remember, forms that you sign for the purposes of CCS are legal documents. We are asked to remind you that giving false information is a criminal offence. It is your responsibility to notify us if your circumstances change.

FAQs

What makes the program eligible for CCS payments?

To be eligible to administer child care fee assistance, a child care provider must be approved under the Education and Care Services National Law.

How do we enrol and when do enrolments open?

Email llc.childrenservices@harvey.wa.gov.au to enrol your child ahead of each school holiday.

COVID-19 safety

For your child’s health and safety, LLC has implemented a range of COVID-19 protective measures.

Sanitising stations are available throughout the Centre for patron use. Each child will be temperature checked each morning, and any child showing signs of illness will not be admitted to attend the service.

Daily cooking will be limited to staff only, but children will still enjoy their afternoon snack.

Call 9797 4000 or email llc.childrenservices@harvey.wa.gov.au for more information on how we keep your children safe.

FAQs

How to enrol?

Email llc.childrenservices@harvey.wa.gov.au to enrol your child ahead of each school holiday or to find out more information about the Holiday Program.

Fees and payments

Fees must be paid in full by the morning of your child's first day.

Staffing

Our program complies with staffing requirements under State Child Care Legislation. Staff are qualified and experienced to run activities and create an enjoyable and comfortable environment for all children. On some occasions, the Centre may use specialist instructors for particular activities, or students on work placement. These additional staff are pre-screened prior to their involvement in the program and must hold a valid Working with Children Check.

Activities

The activities in our program are fully supervised by experienced staff. We use the facilities and equipment within our Centre and the immediate surrounds to provide a wide range of active and relaxed activities that are developmentally appropriate for your child. The program operates on a “participation by choice” basis and children are given activity options throughout their day. Children have the option to participate in cooking, craft, sport, swimming, leisure activities and free play.

Swimming

Our program includes swimming. Children are allocated coloured bibs, designating which pool they can swim in based on their swimming level. Additional staff and lifeguards supervise the children while in this area.

For their safety, children who do not follow instructions in the aquatic area will be asked to sit out.

What to bring?

Children should bring a bag or backpack with the following labelled items:

  • Suitable clothing for the current weather conditions.
  • Sneakers, joggers or other covered in shoes.
  • Hat.
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
  • Refillable drink bottle.
  • Bathers and a dry towel.

As well as providing morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for your child, please consider packing some fruit to share to help encourage healthy eating.

Please do not bring any peanut based products!

Please leave personal toys and games at home. All electronic devices must also be left at home.

This helps encourage participation in the program. However, if your child has a personal item they really want to bring, please advise staff.

Cancellation policy

Please advise LLC Holiday Program staff seven days in advance if you wish to cancel your child’s booking.

This allows us to contact people on the waiting list and arrange staff where necessary. Full fees apply if less than seven days notice is given.

Drop off and pick up

Our program operates from 8am to 5.30pm. We are unable to look after children outside of these times. Children must be signed in and out each day by a parent or authorised person. Children will not be released to any person who is not listed as an authorised nominee. Late fees will apply.

Children with special needs

Children with special needs are welcome to attend the program. Please contact the Childcare Supervisor at least six weeks before your child will start attending the program so appropriate supervision can be arranged. Centre staff will discuss our inclusion assessment procedure with you.

Call 9797 4000 or email llc.childrenservices@harvey.wa.gov.au to discuss your child’s needs.
