Important Information

Fees & Payments

Government subsidies available.

Fees must be paid by the morning of your child's first day. If you have not registered for government rebates, payment of full fees is required. If you are approved, subsidy percentage will be applied.

Our program complies with staffing requirements under the state child care legislation. Staff have appropriate qualifications and experience to run the activities, keep your children enthused and most of all create an enjoyable and comfortable environment for all children. On some occasions the Centre may use specialist instructors for particular activities or students on work placement. These additional staff are pre-screened prior to their involvement in the program and must hold a valid working with children check.

The activities in our program are fully supervised by experienced staff. We use the facilities and equipment within our Centre and the immediate surrounds to provide a wide range of active and passive activities that are developmentally appropriate for your child. The program operates on a “participation by choice” basis and children are given various activity options throughout the day.  Children will have the option to participate in cooking, craft, sport, swimming, leisure activities and free play.

Our daily program includes swimming. Children are given wrist bands designating which pool they can swim in based on their swimming level. Additional staff and a lifeguards supervise the children whilst in this area.  Please note children who do not follow instructions in the aquatic area will be asked to sit out.

What to Bring

Children should bring a bag or backpack with:

  • Sneakers or joggers (covered in shoes)

Please label all items.

Parents should provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for their child and if possible a piece of fruit to   share to help encourage healthy eating.  Our program can be quite active and children need to have their energy levels replenished throughout the day.  Children will also be encouraged to drink plenty of water during the day so a refillable drink bottle is required. Note: We request that personal toys and games be left at home to help us encourage participation in the program. However, if your child has a personal item they really want to bring, please advise staff.
