New & Simplified Membership Options for 2026
General
27 January 2026

We’re rolling out a refreshed and simplified membership structure

As we head into the New Year, we’ve simplified our membership options to make them easier, clearer and more flexible for our members.

What’s Changed?

We now offer three simple membership options based on how our facilities are used most:

Full Access
Gym, group fitness, aqua fitness, pools, spa/steam room, squash and trainer support

Fitness Only
Gym, group fitness, squash and trainer support

Aquatic Only
Aqua fitness, pools and spa/steam room

We’ve also removed common barriers to joining:

  • No lock-in contracts

  • No joining fees

  • No cancellation fees

  • Four weeks’ notice if you need to make a change

Memberships can be paid by ongoing direct debit or 12 months upfront.

Discounts remain for concession card holders and teens, and Shire of Harvey ratepayers aged 80+ continue to receive a free Full Membership.

Why the Change?

Previously, we offered more than 50 membership options. While well intentioned, this made things confusing for members and time-consuming to manage.

Simplifying our memberships allows us to be more consistent and focus on delivering a better experience for everyone.

What Does This Mean for You?

  • Upfront members: Nothing changes until your membership expires. At renewal, you’ll choose one of the new options.

  • Concerned about pricing? If you think you may now be paying more than current fees, please contact us and we’ll review your membership.

  • Renewal discounts: In line with Shire of Harvey Fees and Charges, renewal discounts are no longer available. We’re currently working on alternative ways to recognise long-term members.

Our team is always happy to help if you have questions.

Membership FAQs

Why are 3-month and 6-month upfront memberships no longer available?
We’ve simplified our options and most members prefer ongoing memberships without a large upfront cost. If you only want a membership for 3 or 6 months, you can still do this - just provide 28 days’ notice and we’ll cancel your membership with no fees.

Why is the 10% loyalty renewal discount no longer offered?
This discount was not part of the Shire of Harvey’s approved fees and charges, and we’re required to follow Council-approved pricing. We are currently exploring alternative loyalty options.

Why can’t suspensions be backdated?
Backdated suspensions have sometimes been misused. Requiring requests in advance helps ensure fairness for all members. Exceptional circumstances, such as illness, can be reviewed case by case.
