Aquatics Closed for 3 Weeks
To allow installation of the new HVAC air handling system to be completed safely and efficiently, the aquatic facilities will be closed to all users from Monday 6 April, with a scheduled reopening on Monday 27 April.
This work forms part of a $1.2 million investment in improving the indoor aquatic environment at Leschenault Leisure Centre.
Why do it during school holidays?
There is never a good time to close any of our facilities or services. However, this period was selected as it will have the least impact on aquatic users.
What does this mean for you?
Swim School
There is no impact on our swim school students, as we have programmed our term of lessons around the pool closure.
Aquatic Membership Holders
You have the option of suspending your membership for the duration of the pool closure or using the gym and group fitness facilities instead.
Simply check in at Reception to register your attendance and we will issue you with a temporary access pass.
Full Access Membership Holders
Full access members can continue to use the gym, group fitness and squash courts, or suspend their membership during the closure.
Aqua Fitness Classes
If you would like to keep moving while the pool is closed, our Group Fitness program offers a range of classes to help keep you active during this time.

We know this disruption to our aquatic users is frustrating, but the short-term inconvenience will deliver long-term improvements to the pool environment. We appreciate your understanding.
